December 11, 1928: The Pesuta, a 264 foot log carrier, was under tow by the tug Imbrecaria in Hectate Strait when it was struck by a heavy southeast gale. The remains of this 2000 ton craft lies just north of the Tlell River on the east beach of Graham Island, in the Queen Charlotte Islands.
